Park Manor Ltd in Park Falls, WI, is seeking an Activity Aide to plan daily, weekly, and monthly events that encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation for residents.

You will observe resident engagement, coordinate logistics, train volunteers, assist with meal service, and support outdoor leisure activities.

The role requires completing feeding assistant training and offers a 4-day/week full-time schedule with 7am–3pm shifts and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Completion of feeding assistant training is required.
• Ability to assist residents with meals and participate in activity planning.

Responsibilities

• Plans and facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
• Observes resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement; notifies Activity Director of changes.
• Handles logistics to make events possible: phone calls, inventory, training and motivating volunteers or staff, coordinating transportation.
• Assists residents with leisure requests: writing cards/letters, calls, emails, games, books, or independent activities.
• Assists with resident meal service.
• Assists residents outdoors for leisure or breaks.

Job Summary

• Plans and facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior and degree of involvement in facility activities. Alert Activity Director of any changes in usual resident interests or participation.
• Handles logistics to make events possible, such as making phone calls, managing inventory, training and motivating volunteers or employees, and coordinating transportation.
• Assists residents with leisure requests – writing cards/letters, radio or television, telephone calls, emails, games, obtaining books or independent leisure activities.
• Assists with resident meal service
• Assist residents outdoors as requested, for leisure, smoking breaks, etc.

Openings

1 Fulltime 4 days/week. Shift time 7am-3pm; Every third weekend rotations required.
