Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management, a dedicated branch for senior communities, is seeking an Activity Aide for Eden Vista Rock Run to enrich residents' lives. The role offers full-time hours, with a structured schedule Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for working with people, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to design engaging activities that promote socialization and independence within a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet residents' physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day.
• Help design programs to encourage socialization among residents.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment to improve daily living skills.
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents' progress.
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage participation.

Position: Activity Aide (Full time)

Schedule: Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Job functions will include:

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
