Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay is seeking a dynamic, caring individual for a Part Time position in the Activities Department. Interaction with residents and families requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism.

Responsibilities include establishing rapport with Alzheimer's and Dementia residents, developing programming ideas with the Activity Director, and delivering programming ideas that meet psychosocial needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in pediatrics and/or geriatrics recreation.
• Be able to facilitate group programs independently.
• Positive attitude and energy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written/reading skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay is seeking a dynamic and caring individual for a Part Time position within the Activities Department. Experience is a plus. Individual must be willing to work every other weekend / holiday.

This position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families.

Position duties include:

• Establish rapport with Alzheimer's/Dementia care residents and their families
• Develop approaches/interventions to meet the psychosocial needs of residents
• Collaborate with Activity Director to develop and run programming ideas for residents
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions
