Edgerton Care Center in Edgerton, WI is seeking an Activities Aide for weeknights and weekends. This on-site, part-time role supports residents’ social, spiritual, and therapeutic needs through engaging activities, programming, and community interactions.

The position offers evening hours (weeknights 4:00 PM–7:00 PM) and weekend shifts (Sat 9:00 AM–3:00 PM), with compensation ranging from $16.00 to $18.76 per hour, plus benefits tailored to employment status.

Qualifications

• Sixteen years of age required.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be English literate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Knowledgeable with planning, developing and implementing resident crafts.
• Well-developed organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews resident to complete Initial and Annual Assessments.
• Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.
• Performs one on one interaction to enhance quality of life.
• Implements Plan of Care.
• Plans own programs for monthly calendar.
• Enable residents to maximize their potential in activity participation through adaption, clues, /prompts and grading.
• Documents quarterly and annual progress notes into Matrix.
