Job summary

Edgerton Care Center in Edgerton, WI is seeking an Activities Aide for evening and weekend coverage. The role focuses on meeting residents' social, spiritual, and therapeutic needs through engaging activities and community interaction.

The position is on-site and part-time, with hours weeknights 4:00 PM–7:00 PM and weekend shifts 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, offering a wage range of $16.00–$18.76 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Sixteen years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Plan/Develop/Implement resident crafts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid WI Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Interviews resident to complete Initial and Annual Assessments.
• Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.
• Performs one on one interaction to enhance quality of life.
• Implements Plan of Care.
• Plans own programs for monthly calendar.
• Enable residents to maximize their potential in activity participation through adaption, clues, /prompts and grading.
• Documents quarterly and annual progress notes into Matrix.
