Job summary

NEWCare, Inc. is seeking an energetic Activity Aide to assist the Activity Director with planning and implementing activities for elderly residents in Crivitz, WI. This full-time and/or part-time role offers weekday hours and occasional weekends.

Prior long-term care experience is a plus, and therate of pay is $14.00/hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, patience and compassion, and strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and coordinate group activities.

We are seeking applications for a full-time and/or part-time, energetic, Activity Aide for our skilled nursing facility to assist the Activity Director with planning and implementation of individual and group activities. If you enjoy spending time with the elderly and engaging them in purposeful activities, then this is a position for you. Applicants with previous experience in long-term care such as Certified Nurse Aides and Direct Support Professionals who are enthusiastic about interacting with the elderly will also be considered. Full-time hours would be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Part-time hours would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm orTuesday and Thursday, six (6) hours/day, 9:30amto 3:30 pm. Some weekends and holidays if needed. Rate of pay is $14.00/hour.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
