Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement, volunteer services, concierge operations, and related customer experiences. You will direct programs, oversee staff and volunteers, and build partnerships to enhance resident quality of life.

The role requires coordinating across neighborhoods, managing calendars and metrics, and ensuring safety and compliance with Sunrise standards while supporting move-ins and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills.
• Experience with volunteer/engagement technology and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across neighborhoods including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming.
• Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards.

Pay Range:

25.25 - 31.65
