Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement, volunteer services, and concierge operations across our communities in Holladay, Utah. You’ll create meaningful connections, manage programs, and partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins.

With 2+ years in leadership roles within senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management, you’ll supervise staff and volunteers, track metrics, and ensure Sunrise quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver engaging resident experiences.
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across neighborhoods
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics
• Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents and families
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational, communication, and event‑planning skills
• Experience with volunteer/engagement technology and reporting preferred
• Sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment
• Passion for creating meaningful resident experiences
• Valid driver's licence, if required

Pay Range: 22.15 - 27.75
