Zachary Piper Solutions in Arlington, VA seeks an Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV to support a high-visibility federal client within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) SASP.

Active TS/SCI clearance and 10+ years DoD/IC policy experience are required. The role involves shaping IDPM policy, coordinating across DoD and IC, and delivering executive-level briefings and staff packages for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years in DoD/IC policy development or planning.
• Experience in influence operations, deception, perception management or related fields.
• Experience in senior HQ environments (OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service HQs) and cross-organizational coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, coordinate, and promulgate policies, strategies, and plans supporting IDPM operations, activities, and investments.
• Support oversight, governance inspections, and staff visits related to IDPM programs and initiatives.
• Prepare and coordinate senior leader staff packages, decision memoranda, policy recommendations, and executive correspondence.
• Produce executive-level briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership, Congress, and Executive Branch stakeholders.
• Collaborate across DoD and IC to align IDPM activities with broader strategic and operational objectives.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV located in Arlington, VA to support a high-visibility federal client within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP).

Responsibilities of the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV include:

• Develop, analyze, coordinate, and promulgate policies, strategies, and plans supporting influence, deception, and perception management (IDPM) operations, activities, and investments.
• Support oversight, governance, compliance inspections, and staff assistance visits related to IDPM programs and initiatives.
• Prepare and coordinate senior leader staff packages, decision memoranda, policy recommendations, and time-sensitive executive correspondence.
• Produce executive-level briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior Department leadership, Congress, and Executive Branch stakeholders.
• Collaborate across DoD and Intelligence Community organizations to align IDPM activities with broader strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications for the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV include:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 10+ years of experience developing, analyzing, coordinating, or implementing policy within the DoD or Intelligence Community, with demonstrated experience supporting assessments, operational requirements/risk, or operational planning.
• Experience supporting influence operations, military deception, perception management, information operations, psychological operations (PSYOP), strategic communications, or closely related mission areas.
• Proven experience operating in senior headquarters environments (OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service Headquarters, or equivalent), supporting governance, oversight, compliance, and cross-organizational coordination.
• Demonstrated experience producing executive-level briefings, policy papers, staff packages, decision memoranda, Congressional reporting, and recommendations for senior leaders.

Compensation for the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV includes:

• $130,000 - $145,000
