Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Terre Haute is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs, both in-house and in the community. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and engagement across activities and events.

No formal experience is required, though CNA experience is preferred. You will help create the activity calendar and ensure scheduling documentation meets state standards, with strong growth opportunities within Signature

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.

How you Will make a difference

• Assist in the activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents
