Job summary

Care Initiatives’ Avoca Specialty Care in Avoca, IA is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs and daily activities on a PRN schedule. You’ll work closely with the activity director and care team to create meaningful experiences that enhance well-being.

You’ll help implement activity programs, maintain materials, assist with record-keeping, and encourage resident participation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
• An interest in making everyday FUN and fulfilling for our residents!

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director in implementing an activity program to meet each resident’s needs.
