Responsibilities

  • Work with the Lifestyles Activities Department to plan and implement a dynamic activities program for residents and guests.
  • Schedule room usages in Club facilities for all departments, residents and events; communicate room setup to housekeeping.
  • Design, publish and post fliers advertising Activities events.
  • Responsible for managing some of the Activities events and for ordering/purchasing/decorating.
  • Greet members and guests and assist with scheduling and room setup; respond to inquiries about the program.
  • Attend 75% of Activities meetings and respond to communications promptly.

Overview

The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning and coordination of social events for the community.

The Lifestyle Coordinator provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.

Responsibilities

Primarily responsibility is to work with the Lifestyles Activities Department in creating, planning and implementing a dynamic Activities program for the active adult residents of Solivita. Maintain a safe and friendly environment for residents and guest attending Activities events.

  • Work as a team with the Activities Department to create a fun and exciting Activities program for residents and their guests
  • Schedule room usages in the Club facilities for all departments, residents and food and beverage events, along with communicating room set up to the housekeeping staff
  • Design, publish and post fliers advertising all Activities events
  • Responsible for managing some of the Activities events
  • Responsible for ordering, purchasing and decorating for Activities events
  • Meet with club members and provide assistance in scheduling and room set up for their events
  • Use telephone and computer systems in an appropriate manner
  • Notify the proper department of any areas that need attention
  • Attend 75% of all Activities meetings
  • Understand emergency preparedness and respond appropriately to all emergency situations.
  • Respond promptly to communications and follow through on commitments made to others.
  • Show courtesy and respect to all customers and listen openly to the ideas of others
  • Promptly correct areas of improvement as identified by your supervisor
  • Respond calmly and tactfully to problem situations
  • Discuss concerns in a constructive manner with persons who need to be involved
  • Greet members and guests as they enter the Activities Department and events. Answer questions about the Activities program.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • 2+ years in administrative and/or event planning role or similar position
