Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation is seeking an Activities Specialist to empower individuals with disabilities by leading engaging programs and supporting daily living skills in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

This role serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and brain injury, helping them pursue interests in employment, recreation, and social interaction through creative activity planning and collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license (Class C or D) required.
  • 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Personal Care Needs: Assist individuals with dining, toileting, and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Implement Engaging Programs: Develop and lead individual and group activities that promote skill development, independence, and community integration.
  • Collaborate on Behavior Plans: Work with the clinical team to create and implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual.
  • Facilitate Transportation: Assist with transporting participants to various activities and appointments as needed.
  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Conduct satisfaction surveys, document participant progress, and ensure compliance with ISPs.
