Delaware North’s Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado seeks a seasonal, part-time Activities Shuttle Driver. You will transport guests in non-CDL vans, share local knowledge, and ensure safe operations on all routes. This role includes tips in addition to base pay and requires a valid license and DOT readiness.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of three years driving experience with a valid license.
• Able to safely operate a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle.

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal part-time Activities Shuttle Driver to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting guests between various destinations on and off our property. If sharing your driving experience with guests overlooking incredible locations sounds like the ride of your life,

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$17.00 - $20.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Greet, interact and provide guests with local information, recommendations, and directions
• Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and report any mechanical or safety problems to management.
• This position requires the team member to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical.
• Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate record keeping.
• Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
• Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
• Ability to operate vehicle in a calm and safe manner in response to adverse weather conditions, other drivers, and wild animals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of three years’ driving experience and a valid driver license
• Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
• Great guest experience and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
• No high school diploma or GED required

• Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
• Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
• Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio

Nova Guides provides ATV/UTV guided tours and rentals, winter snowmobile and snow coach guided tours and rentals, and private fly fishing and archery instruction.
