Pioneer Healthcare Management is seeking an Activity Aide in Northville, MI. The role focuses on implementing an activity program to meet residents’ physical, mental, and social needs and interests.

The position reports to the Activities Director and requires the ability to plan and document activities in line with regulatory standards. A high school diploma and English proficiency are required; prior SNF/assisted living activity experience is preferred.

Title: Activity Aide

Reports to: Activities Director

Position Summary: Performs duties involving the implementation of an activity program, which meets physical, mental, psychosocial needs and interests of residents.

Duties and Responsibilities: The employee is required to be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position.

Responsible for the planning of activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled

Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations and attendance book.

Assures personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous material, and fire safety.
