Job summary

LeRoy Village Green Residential Healthcare Facility in LeRoy, NY, seeks an experienced Activities Leader to design and lead engaging programs that enhance residents' quality of life. You will plan diverse activities, coordinate with the care team, and tailor plans to individual interests and abilities.

You will provide both group and one-on-one activities, maintain records, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or senior living settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities and programs for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and social events.
• Develop and implement individualized activity plans to meet the unique needs and interests of each resident.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure activities promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
• Provide one-on-one and group activities to residents, including outings and events.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve residents' experiences and outcomes.

Activities Leader Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities and programs for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and social events
