Job summary

Legends Global in Chicago is seeking an Activities Instructor for the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center to lead sports and fitness programming for all ages and skill levels. You will create engaging drills, follow curricula, and promote teamwork, safety, and participant enjoyment.

The role requires CPR certification or equivalent and knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and group fitness strategies. A professional, motivating approach and teamwork with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Red Cross CPR certification, Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent. Additional specialty/certifications preferred.
• Have working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principles.
• Have working knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, tempo, technique, and rhythm.
• Ability to be professional and motivate class participants. Ability to cooperate and work well with other staff members.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.

• Assist with additional recreational programs and special events as needed.

With passion and dedication to excellence, the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center’s Activities Instructor will lead sports and fitness programming at the facility by applying proven instruction methods that both inspire and guide each and every participant regardless of age, experience, or knowledge of a wide variety of different recreational activities.

HOURS:

This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

HOURLY RATE:

$19.00
