Job summary

Spring Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a Recreation / Activities Director to join our team. The role directs activity programs, plans events, and supports resident engagement within the facility.

The position runs 9AM-5PM and requires at least 2 years of experience along with a certificate. We offer competitive wages based on experience, benefits including health insurance, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in recreation/activities management.
• Certificate required.
• Must be able to work 9AM-5PM.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the activity programs of this facility.
• Assist in the development, administering, and coordinating of department policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the identification of medically related activity needs of the resident.
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
• Involve residents and families in planning facility activity programs.
• Assist in arranging transportation to other facilities when necessary.
• Refer resident/families to appropriate social service personnel when the facility does not provide the services or needs of the resident.
