You will lead a team of staff, volunteers, and drivers, collaborating with Memory Support Engagement Coordinators to enrich daily life and support well-being across cognitive, physical, and emotional domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; senior care experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with senior activities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, energetic, and self-directed.
• Tech-savvy; able to use basic design or word processing software.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As the Activities Director, you will design and oversee a diverse range of social, educational, and recreational programs that support the cognitive, physical, and emotional well‑being of our residents. You will lead a team of support staff, volunteers, and drivers, while collaborating closely with our Memory Support Engagement Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all activity programs for our Assisted Living residents, including transportation for off‑site events.
• Prepare resident activity assessments to tailor programs to their interests.
• Supervise activities support staff, drivers, and volunteers.
• Design monthly newsletters and calendars for Assisted Living and Memory Support.
• Plan and promote community events, seminars, and special celebrations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of spaces, equipment, and transportation.
• Maintain budget oversight and track department expenditures.
• Keep our residents informed and engaged through posters, bulletin boards, and digital communications.
• Serve as a shining example of the values and mission of Fellowship Square.
