Job summary

The Long Term Care Facility in Titusville, NJ is seeking an experienced Activities Director to lead and expand our resident engagement programs. You will design therapeutic recreational activities, social events, and community outings to enhance quality of life.

Collaborating with rehabilitation staff, you will recruit and train volunteers, maintain activity records, manage the department budget, and address resident needs to ensure high satisfaction and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in activities direction or a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and standards.
• Basic knowledge of activity programming and recreation therapy principles.
