Join Our Team as an Activities Director at The Jewish Home

Supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, we are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to lead volunteer-based activities that enrich the lives of residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. This role involves collaborating with department coordinators and the Executive Director, maintaining activity calendars, managing budgets, and leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead volunteer-based activities and programs for residents.
  2. Collaborate with staff and community organizations to build a network of volunteers and resources.
  3. Maintain a calendar of activities and events.
  4. Prepare budgets and monitor expenses to meet financial targets.
  5. Recruit, hire, coach, and retain team members.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Ability to train and motivate volunteers and staff.
  • State certifications/licenses such as CDL preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to resident care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends.
