Job summary

Capital Vacations seeks an Activities Director to design, schedule, and implement resort activities for guests and Owners. You will manage the recreational calendar, coordinate events with off-site vendors, and ensure high quality guest experiences.

You will oversee budgeting for the department, supervise staff, and provide mentoring to team members while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of guest services experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, schedules, and implements resort activities for all guests and Owners.
• Maintains and balances operational expenses for the department.
• Coordinates special projects and events with vendors and attractions.
• Publishes and designs a weekly recreational calendar.
• Provides exemplary guest service to all Owners, exchangers and resort guests.
• Supervises, trains, and mentors staff.

• Designs, schedules and implements special events for holidays and other occasions
• Coordinates special projects and events with off-site vendors and attractions
• Publishes and designs a weekly recreational calendar
• Purchases and maintains sports equipment and gaming library
• Provides quality control of recreational areas, including basketball courts, tennis courts, pool areas, and children’s playground
• Provides follow-up reports to management with regard to special projects and responsibilities
• Assists in planning employee-related functions within the workplace
• Supervises, trains, and mentors staff
• Provides exemplary guest service to all Owners, exchangers and resort guests
• Complies and enforces all company policies and procedures
