Kisco Senior Living’s Balfour at Central Park in Denver, CO is seeking an energetic Activities Director to design engaging enrichment programs, inspire residents, and lead a vibrant Life Enrichment team.

Join a mission-driven community where you will manage calendars, coordinate transportation, mentor staff, and oversee budgeting while delivering memorable experiences for seniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in programming, implementing, and oversight of activities and enrichment programs for different levels of skill and cognitive ability.
• Two or more years of experience in training and supervising staff.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote a variety of group and individual Enrichment programs
• Manage resident risk through functional assessments and resident lifestyle assessments
• Oversee the publication of a Life Enrichment calendar and newsletter
• Implement and manage an effective transportation program
• Establish and manage a volunteer program
• Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
• Ensure an effective staffing schedule
• Manage the enrichment budget expenses and labor costs
• Hire and train new members of the Life enrichment team
• Perform other related duties as required

What will I do every day?

• Develop and promote a variety of group and individual Enrichment programs

Special Requirements/Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
• First Aid Certification
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with weekend flexibility as needed
