Job summary

Roseberry Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Hamilton House to plan and lead engaging activities that improve residents’ well-being and quality of life. You will foster social interaction, creativity, and mental stimulation in a warm care setting.

You will coordinate daily programming, work with staff and families, and ensure activities are tailored to individual needs while maintaining safety and records. This role is based at Hamilton House.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a care or support environment is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a caring, patient attitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a varied program of daily, weekly, and monthly activities tailored to residents’ needs and interests.
• Encourage residents, staff, family and friends participation in both group and one-to-one activities.
• Organize events such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, reminiscence therapy, gentle exercise, and outings.
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure residents’ health and mobility are considered in all planned activities.
• Keep records of activities, participation levels, and individual preferences.
• Ensure all activities are risk assessed and follow health and safety guidelines.

Location: Hamilton House, West St, Buckingham MK18 1HL

Salary: £13.75 Per Hour

Hours: 24 Hours Per Week(includes alternate weekends on a rota basis)

Your Role

As a Activities Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a range of activities that enhance the well-being, independence, and quality of life of our residents.
