Job summary

EOS Hospitality LLC at Jellystone Park Petoskey in Petoskey, MI seeks an Activities Coordinator to lead guest engagement and event programming. This role focuses on energizing groups, hosting events, and creating memorable experiences for families.

You will plan and supervise activities, train volunteers, track attendance, and help with communications. This is a full-time seasonal position running through October 31 with flexible PM shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Education.
• Experience in event or recreational planning preferred.
• Enjoys working with adults and children of all ages.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Flexible schedule. Ability to work PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, dinners, and crafts.
• Set-up and clean-up after events.
• Maintain a sheet tracking attendance for each activity.
• Train team members and volunteers.
• Distribute the weekly newsletter to resort guests.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.

This a seasonal position that runs through October 31.
