Job summary

Mountain ViewWhismanSchool District seeks an Activities Coach for cross country at Graham Middle School. Two positions available for after-school sports programs. August 24–October 7, 2026, with stipends for playoff games as applicable.

Certified coaches will handle duties per Title V requirements; ongoing NFHS trainings are available online. ($2,000 base rate; $50 playoff game stipend; stipends may be shared in co-coaching roles.)

JOB DESCRIPTION: MVWSD middle schools are seeking Activities Coach for after school sports programs.

WORK DAYS

August 24 – October 7, 2026. Depending on level of championship and extended play

RATE OF PAY

$2,000 - Additional $50 stipend per playoff game - depending on length of season/level of championship. (Stipends will be split for shared coaching positions).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION

Applicants must be certified under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594, prior to the beginning of the season of sport. The following certifications must be completed before assuming individual coaching duties:

• Current TB examination
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter (www.mandatedreporterca.com)
• First Aid and CPR (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching
• NFHS - Concussion in Sports
• NFHS - Sudden Cardiac Arrest
