Mountain View Whisman School District seeks an Activities Coach for Graham Middle School to lead after-school boys basketball programs. Multiple positions available with a focus on safety, development, and school community involvement.

The role requires NFHS coaching certifications and a TB exam, with additional First Aid/CPR and mandated training. Stipends include a base rate plus playoff bonuses. Positions are part-time and seasonal.

JOB SITES: Graham Middle School

JOB DESCRIPTION: MVWSD middle schools are seeking Activities Coach for after school sports programs.

WORK DAYS: August 24 – October 7, 2026

Depending on level of championship and extended play

RATE OF PAY: $2,000 - Additional $50 stipend per playoff game - depending on length of season/level of championship.

(Stipends will be split for shared coaching positions).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

Applicants must be certified under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594, prior to the beginning of the season of sport. The following certifications must be completed before assuming individual coaching duties:

• Current TB examination
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter (www.mandatedreporterca.com)
• First Aid and CPR (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching
• NFHS - Concussion in Sports
• NFHS - Sudden Cardiac Arrest
