Job summary

Graham Middle School, part of Mountain View Whisman School District, is seeking an Activities Coach for after-school wrestling programs. You will support student-athletes, run practices, and help coordinate competitions with a focus on safety and fair play.

Two positions are available for the 2026 fall season (October 5 to December 3). Applicants must hold Title V, CCR 5593/5594 certifications and complete NFHS courses before the season begins.

Qualifications

• Certified under Title V, CCR 5593/5594 before season start.
• Complete NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, First Aid & CPR, TB examination.
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter

Responsibilities

• Assist in after-school wrestling program management.
• Coordinate practices and competitions for middle school athletes.
• Emphasize safety, fair play, and student development.

JOB DESCRIPTION: MVWSD middle schools are seeking Activities Coach for after school sports programs.

WORK DAYS: 10/05/2026 -12/3/2026
Depending on level of championship and extended play.

RATE OF PAY: $2,000 stipend.Additional $50 stipend per playoff game - depending on length of season/level of championship.

Applicants must be certified under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594, prior to the beginning of the season of sport. The following certifications must be completed before assuming individual coaching duties:

• Current TB examination
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter
• First Aid and CPR (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching
• NFHS - Concussion in Sports
• NFHS - Sudden Cardiac Arrest
