Job Overview

Strives to improve the quality of life for patients/residents by providing meaningful activities and interventions on a one-on-one and group basis. Responsible for administering the monthly activity calendar, organizing activities such as music, crafts, and spiritual events, and supporting residents' dignity and identity. Assists with simple nursing procedures, transporting residents, and documentation such as MDS/EPICs. Demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to follow instructions, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics and working with diverse resident demographics preferred.
• Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a healthcare program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required based on location.
• Must obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications.
• Driver’s license and medical qualification for driving may be required depending on location.
