Job summary

VI at Bentley Village in Naples, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant for full-time 9am-5pm shifts (weekends included). You will support the Lifestyle department by developing and executing programs, coordinating in-house activities, and helping publish the monthly activity calendar and resident newsletter.

The role requires prior experience in recreation/leisure for seniors, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in recreation and leisure activities for seniors preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lifestyle department in developing and executing programs and events for residents.

Responsibilities

Activities Assistant

Skilled Nursing Full Time

9am to 5pm including weekends

A desirable opportunity exists for an individual to assist in the Lifestyle department in the development and execution of programs, activities and special events promoting whole person wellness for residents. You'll be involved in coordinating, facilitating and leading in-house group activities and assist with publishing the monthly activity calendar and monthly resident newsletter.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in the field of recreation and leisure activities for an active senior population is preferred.


• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office.


• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
