The Dunwoody Village Recreation Department seeks a Full Time Recreation Assistant to develop and implement engaging group and individual programs for residents in our Care Center. The role runs from 9am to 5pm and emphasizes activities that support cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities include planning diverse programs (exercise, games, crafts), guiding residents, maintaining participation records, and assisting the Manager in evaluating program effectiveness.

Over 3,000 recreation programs are offered every year with the goal of keeping our residents cognitively, emotionally, and socially fulfilled. The Recreation Staff engages residents to realize their full potential through a wide variety of leisure activities.
The Full Time Recreation Assistant (9am-5pm) is responsible for developing and implementing both group and individual recreation programs.
While we certainly prefer candidates with relevant experience in Long Term Care or the Recreation Field, we are happy to train motivated persons with a desire to work with older adults.
