Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full time ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT position.

Location: Brightwood Club - 100 Brightwood Club Drive, Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093

Schedule: Full time schedule. Open and Flexible availability. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous hospitality administrative or activities experience is required.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Assists the Director of Operations (DOO) and General Manager (GM) in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating and coordinating a wide variety of multi-level recreational and educational activities for the residents of the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assists in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
  2. Encourages resident participation in programs and activities.
  3. Activities Assistant escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
  4. Assists with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
  5. Conducts various activities at the direction of the DOO & GM.
  6. Maintains necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing.
  7. Assists in the surveying and interviewing of residents to determine interests, talents and resident satisfaction.
  8. Maintains general observation of residents and shares appropriate information with staff.
  9. Follows departmental budget guidelines.
  10. Activities Assistant attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
  11. Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
  12. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
  13. Adheres to all policies and procedures of Brightwood Club Management.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

An associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of previous experience.
