Job summary

North Shore Healthcare in Wisconsin is seeking an Activities Aide to support the Life Enrichment/Activities Department. This part-time role will average about 23-25 hours per week, with some weekend hours and afternoon shifts.

Starting at $15.00 per hour, you will plan and lead group and 1:1 activities, escort residents, prepare materials, and help maintain calendars and bulletin boards. You’ll work closely with the Life Enrichment Director and nursing team to create a positive, engaging

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead activities and engage residents.
• Ability to push wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead group and 1:1 activities based on residents’ interests.
• Escort residents to/from activities and ensure safety.
• Maintain monthly activity calendars and materials.
• Support special events and family engagement.
• Maintain clean, safe activity areas.
