Available Openings:
  • 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Saturday - Wednesday
Pay, Benefits & Perks of Activities Assistant:
  • Competitive Pay Based on Experience

Essential Functions of Activities Assistant:
  • Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
  • Assist Activities Supervisor with daily activities and supply procurement
  • Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
  • Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding
  • Assist residents with range of motion exercises
  • Provide for personal care and comfort
  • Assist with movement to wheelchair or activity areas
  • Record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and food/fluid intake/output as directed
  • Provide direct and indirect resident care services
  • Communicate resident and family needs to the team
  • Notify nursing team of changes in residents' clinical condition
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications of Activities Assistant:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must pass a state-issued exam
  • Maintain a working email and phone number for communication
  • Ability to react quickly and decisively in emergencies
  • Effective communication with residents, families, and staff
