Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, patient, and compassionate approach to working with seniors.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead individual, small-group, and large-group activities for residents.
• Create monthly activity calendar and track attendance.
• Support resident outings and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and self-directed activities.
• Provide in-room activities for bed-bound or isolated residents.
• Assist with resident assessments, care plans, and quarterly progress notes.
• Communicate with residents, families, staff, and outside contacts.
• Keep the Activities Department clean, organized, and secure.
• Support discharge planning related to activities and resident engagement.

Marin Post Acute is looking for an enthusiastic, creative Activities Assistant to help bring our resident activities program to life! If you enjoy connecting with people, planning fun events, and making a real difference in residents' daily lives, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Help plan and lead individual, small-group, and large-group activities for residents
• Assist in creating the monthly activity calendar and track attendance
