Carlton Senior Living is hiring an Activities Assistant to lead engaging programs for residents in a supportive, caring environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on activity facilitation, safety, and promoting participation while assisting with daily living tasks as needed. A friendly, creative, and reliable team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old per Title 22 requirements.
• Experience working with older adults or other vulnerable populations preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality with strong communication skills.
• Creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be computer literate for communication, scheduling, order tracking, and research.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with group and one-on-one activities designed to engage residents and stimulate the mind.
• Provide hands-on support during games, education programs, music sessions, art activities, social events, and excursions.
• Promote resident participation by creating a welcoming and encouraging environment.
• Observe and report resident responses and participation to ensure activities meet individual needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, including dressing, escorting, transfer, and meal assistance.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

What We Are Hiring For: Activity Assistant

Schedule: Thursday through Saturday

Pay Range: $17-$17.50

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and assist with group and one‑on‑one activities designed to engage residents with exciting opportunities to stimulate the mind, promote health, and enrich the soul each day.
• Provide hands‑on support during games, education programs, music sessions, art activities, social events, excursions, and more.
• Promote resident participation by creating a welcoming and encouraging environment.
• Observe and report resident responses and participation to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences.
• May assist our residents with activities of daily living that can include dressing, escorting ,transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.
