Must be able to work evenings and weekend shifts.

Help residents maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to their physical capacity, cognitive ability, and interests.
Invite and encourage resident participation and assist in transporting residents.
Accompany residents outside the facility to participate in community events.
Create decorations, set up necessary equipment, craft various items, and award prizes.
Assist in planning, layout, and distribution of the monthly activity calendar.
Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
Supervise and lead activities as necessary.
Attend and contribute to resident Care Plan Meetings.
Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs.
Must have experience in recreation, with long-term care experience preferred.
Ability to perform physical tasks required in skilled nursing.
Possess a passion for working with and impactful interactions with seniors.
Be creative, compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mile.
Have effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitative settings is preferred.
Possess a positive attitude.
Treat each resident with care, compassion, dignity, and respect.
