Job summary

The Arbor Company in Park Ridge, IL is seeking an Activities Assistant to create meaningful, engaging opportunities for our residents. You will help them thrive through our 6-dimensional engagement program, build deep connections with families, and bring creativity to daily activities.

Join a team that values respect, growth, and a supportive work culture. Prior experience as a teacher, caregiver, nurse, or event planner is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in roles related to activities, caregiving, or coordination may be beneficial.
• Experience with seniors or in aged care settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful and engaging activities for residents.
• Support residents' health and wellbeing through our 6-dimensional engagement program.
• Build deep connections with residents and families.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to plan and execute events.

• Previous experience as a Teacher, Event Planner, Caregiver, Nurse, Med Tech or Project Coordinator.
• Preferred, but not required, experience working with seniors.
