Baptist Village Communities is looking for an Activities Assistant to support engaging Life Enrichment experiences for residents. You will help plan and lead activities, connect with residents one-on-one, and assist with admissions transitions through assessments.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., on site at our campus and requires a patient, energetic, and people-oriented approach. Experience with dementia care is helpful; strong interpersonal skills and a valid Oklahoma driver’s

Qualifications

• Fun, energetic, engaging, and patient personality with a heart for serving senior adults.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with residents one-on-one, including individuals with various levels of dementia.
• Ability to complete admission assessments and support documentation as needed.
• Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License required.

Physical and Work Environment

• Office environment within a healthcare facility
• Must possess adequate sight and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to meet job requirements.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
