Job summary

Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Sandisfield, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to help plan, organize, and direct the recreation program, ensuring activities meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.

The role is a 4p-8p shift with rotating weekends and 16 hours per week, offering weekly pay at $18 per hour and opportunities for career advancement. Training is provided for the right candidate, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

• Assist with establishing resident care goals within the framework of the therapeutic team
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings
• Report all reportable events immediately

Join our creative and passionate recreation team at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Sandisfield!

As an Activities Assistant, you will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the recreation department to ensure that an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident is maintained.

4p-8p shift with rotating weekends. Weekly pay is $18 an hour. Berkshire Rehab is an all-male skilled nursing facility with a large veteran population. 16 hours a week.
