Job summary

Regency Pacific in Kennewick, WA seeks an activities assistant to provide and supervise enrichment opportunities that meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.

You will be expected to provide resident activities on group and individual basis, promote and follow the monthly schedule, document residents' attitudes and participation in

• Report to the activities director.
• Attend care conferences.
• Work independently and relate positively with others.

Job description

Full-Time

30-32 hours per week - must include 1 weekend day

As activities assistant, you provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.

You will:

• Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis
• Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities
• Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
• Report to the activities director

You currently:

• Work independently
• Relate positively and effectively with others
• Advocate for the senior population
• possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
