Working alongside the Activities Director, you will help develop and implement programs that support residents' physical, emotional, social, and psychosocial well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Activities Director in planning and conducting individual, small-group, and large-group activitiesEncourage resident participation in games, crafts, music, exercise, social events, and community outingsHelp create a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes quality of lifeAssist with the development and implementation of monthly activity calendarsMaintain activity attendance records and documentationSupport resident assessments and activity care plansProvide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who are unable to attend group eventsAssist with special events, holiday celebrations, and family activitiesTransport or escort residents to activities as neededCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Activities DepartmentSupport facility policies, regulatory requirements, and resident-centered care initiativesQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of experience in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or activities setting preferredExperience working with seniors is a plusApply TodayJoin Cherrydale Post Acute and become part of a team that's committed to creating a vibrant, engaging environment for our residents.
