Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking an energetic, compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life. Working with the Activities Director, you will develop and run programs that support physical, emotional, social, and psychosocial well-being.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or activities setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in planning and conducting individual, small-group, and large-group activities.
• Encourage resident participation in games, crafts, music, exercise, social events, and community outings.
• Help create a stimulating environment that promotes quality of life.
• Maintain activity calendars and attendance records.
• Provide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who cannot join group events.
• Support special events, holidays, and family activities.
