Journey’s The Rosewood at Tybee Island is hiring an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in crafting monthly calendars and coordinating group and one-on-one activities for residents in Tybee Island, GA. You will help plan events, coordinate outings, and enhance resident well-being through meaningful engagement.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with the care team, strong communication, and a willingness to create inclusive, accessible activities for all residents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• CNA certification, preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in planning, creating, and posting a monthly calendar of activities, ensuring accessibility for residents and visitors.
• Conduct interviews with residents or family members to understand activity preferences, facilitate participation, and document attendance and responses to activities.
• Monitor residents' moods, behavior, and involvement during activities, and report changes or concerns to the Activities Director.

Required Qualifications
