Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE planning events and activities? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part-time Activities Assistant. This exciting position is located in Ellicott City and offers an opportunity to be creative. As part of the Activities team, you will be involved in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing residents' activities. The hourly rate starts at $16.00, with potential for growth based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing community resident activities to meet spiritual, emotional, recreational, and social needs.
• Track resident engagement in activities and provide feedback to families and the Director of Memory Care & Life Enrichment.
• Support family education programs and encourage family involvement in activities that support residents' well-being.
• Maintain and communicate a schedule of varied activities to cater to different interests and capabilities, promoting participation.
• Manage craft and recreational supplies to support residents' independent engagement in hobbies and crafts.
• Create and foster a warm, positive atmosphere in leading activities and working with staff.
