Job summary

Sunset Manor Convalescent Hospital is seeking an Activities Assistant to coordinate wellness and recreation programs for residents. The role involves hands-on program delivery during scheduled times and helping supervise volunteers to ensure engaging, high-quality activities for seniors.

You will support the Residents Programs Director in creating meaningful engagement across emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual domains, while assisting with promotional materials and event

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct activities programming experience in a skilled nursing setting.
• Basic typing and computer skills are essential, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Flexibility with schedule.
• Works well with others.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct and deliver wellness and recreation programs to meet needs of residents.
• Provide hands-on involvement in programs during residents' scheduled times.
