Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home invites applications for an Activities Assistant.

This position supports the activities program to enhance residents’ well-being and quality of life, under guidance of the Activities Department. The role involves planning, organizing, and delivering engaging activities while adhering to federal, state, and local standards, ensuring meaningful daily engagement with residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, organizing, developing, and the overall operation of the Activities Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards to assure that an on-going program of Activities is designed to meet all needs for the well-being of each resident.
