Job summary

Fox Hollow Independent & Assisted Living in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a caring Activities Assistant to enrich residents' lives through group and one-on-one activities, aligned with monthly schedules. You will support the care team and residents' families, document participation, and attend care conferences; report to the activities director.

Ideal candidates are independent, personable, and able to advocate for seniors, with a valid driver's license for local outings.

We are Fox Hollow Independent & Assisted Living located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are a retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

As activities assistant

you provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.

You Will

• Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis
• Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities
• Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
• Report to the activities director

You Currently

• Work independently
• Relate positively and effectively with others
• Advocate for the senior population
• possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
