Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and compassionate manner.
Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Observe and communicate resident participation, preferences, behaviors, and concerns to the Activities Director.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident activities and participation.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity environment.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Participate in required staff meetings, in-service education, and training programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Aliya of Crestwood is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused Activity Aide to join our team in Crestwood, Illinois. The Activity Aide will assist with planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote socialization, independence, mental stimulation, and overall quality of life for our residents.

Basic Function

The Activity Aide assists with the development and implementation of recreational and therapeutic activities designed to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of residents. This position works closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team to create a welcoming and engaging environment for all residents.
