Job summary

This per diem position involves daytime shifts with occasional evening events, and requires the ability to direct groups, communicate effectively in English, and perform basic computer tasks.

MVH - Augusta is currently looking for an Activities Aide. The Activities Aide is responsible for providing meaningful activities to the residents and works collaboratively with the Activities Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of activities that are designed to meet the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.

This is a per diem opportunity, days with occasional evenings for events.

Requirements

• Must be able to direct small and large group activities, including directing volunteers in the provision of quality services to the residents.
• Must possess interest in activities and working with geriatric individuals.
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
• Basic computer skills
