Job summary

Montgomery Children's Specialty Center is seeking an Activities Aide / CNA to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging, resident-centered activities for seniors. You will assess interests, help organize programs, and ensure safety and enjoyment in daily recreation.

The role requires a current Alabama CNA in good standing, strong communication, a friendly, energetic personality, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing CNA certification in Alabama.
• Experience as Activities Aide in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings preferred.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Aide | CNA, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
• Prior experience as an Activities Aide | CNA in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Activities Certification preferred
• One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
